The role of the church is to make known to the principalities and powers in the heavenly places the manifold wisdom of God! The manifold wisdom of God, that is according to the eternal purpose which our Father accomplished through our Lord Jesus Christ. Eph 3:10-11. Think of the Matrix of Intercession as a woven web of electric powers lines intersecting across the globe continually fighting the powers of darkness as they try to abort the plans of God and annihilate His children.

What is the sound of the words from the people of this nation that God is hearing? What is the sound of your words? Words of fear, worry and anxiety attract more pain & suffering. Words of unbelief, lawlessness and even scorn for anything that pertains to God and His kingdom are being spoken on a daily basis releasing a sound over our nation that can only be pleasing to the author of lawlessness.

As a child of God we understand the place that Israel has in the heart of our Father. Israel is the apple of His eye. Zech 2:8-9 …. "8 For thus says the LORD of hosts: "He sent Me after glory, to the nations which plunder you; for he who touches you touches the apple of His eye. 9 For surely I will shake My hand against them, and they shall become spoil for their servants. Then you will know that the LORD of hosts has sent Me." It's a fearful thing to have the hand of the LORD against a nation. Something the nations of this hour have forgotten. The LORD has given to Israel the Archangel Michael to guard them. No matter what you may think or feel about Israel they have an everlasting covenant with God that He will fulfill.

When we are not in Peace we have no discernment! Our minds and hearts are filled with fear and are perplexed at what we see unfolding before us. This is just what fear is meant to manifest in you. Once we are in fear, our thoughts are focused on what fear wants us to see and not on what God wants to do. Satan is afraid of you walking in the peace of the Lord because he knows that only then will you be focused on what the Lord is doing and what He has promised.

Whether you pick up the newspaper, read a news article over the net, listen to the most recent radio talk show host or watch the evening news…these are days to marvel over! Back in the 70's when I gave my heart to the Lord, Hal Lindsey had come on the scene with his book 'The Late Great Planet Earth'. We all thought for sure those were the End Days! Some 30 years later I look around and hear myself saying, "Surely these are the End of Days!" So many prophecies coming to pass that had been written in the Word of God. Words and scenes written in the book of Revelation that years ago we scratched our heads wondering, "How could that be?" and now we understand.

For those of you who have been in the church for a while you may reflect back on your early days of walking with Jesus and the advice that was given to you as you were taught how to behave properly now that you were a Christian. A list of Dos and Don'ts were presented so as to not lose your way etc…. Not saying in the least that that was wrong, but unfortunately for many it built a walk full of works and performance instead of love an intimacy with the Lord. In fact the first part of the foundation of the elementary principles of Christ listed in Hebrews 6:1&2 is 'repentance from dead works'.

For the Body of Christ to accept the mind set that comes from a Welfare State mentality is going against the very foundation of the Kingdom of our Lord. The Welfare State says that you have no ability, can't take care of yourself, that you will crumble under any kind of adversity, and have nothing to offer for the common good! In a nut shell, God forgot to equip you…hence the state will carry you.

The Lord has been saying for quite some time that we are in the beginnings of a reformation. Well the last reformation came with Martin Luther’s dismay and disappointment and yes disgust at how the scriptures were being manipulated for the gain of man and not spoken and taught for the salvation of man and his relationship with a loving God. But what I desire to address in this article is the slumber of the church in these critical times that we are living in, in our nation. And my cry is “Do not Sell Your Birthright for a Bowl of Stew!”

These are the days of needing great sight. Spiritual sight. Foresight. The enemy of Christ desires to blind you with fear to only see his plans, but God has not given you the spirit of fear. Now more than ever we need to understand the Law of Perfect Love!

It is beyond surreal how the world has reacted to the election of Barack Obama. On the day of the announcement Nigerian babies were named Obama that day. In Kano, a city in northern Nigeria that had strong feelings against America, school kids chanted Obama's name. Less than three months before Barack Obama takes the oath for office of the President of the United States he instantaneously became a beacon of hope for many countries around the world. Many world leaders began to say that once again America will be America. But which America are they speaking of?
